It is a time when all borders are open and all barriers are removed.  It is a time to celebrate what Christ is doing in the world through young people.

Eiji Osato, Japan/Thailand
Eiji Osato started serving as the president of Asian Baptist Youth Fellowship in 1994 and was appointed to the president of the BWA Youth Department in 2004.  Eiji has been speaking in youth conferences and seminars around the world to help young people and youth leaders to dedicate themselves to Jesus.

Rob Nylen, Canada
Rob Nylen comes from Canada; he is married and has four children. Rob is the Senior Pastor of a Baptist Church in Eastern Canada.  Rob has been the chair of CBM Youth, a group of youth leaders from across Canada who give oversight to a number of initiatives around global discipleship and leadership development.  Rob also is an adjunct faculty member of Acadia Divinity College.
At the Baptist Youth World Conference, Rob is responsible for workshops.

Jesse Ray I. Porras,
“J-R” or Jesse to friends - is the president of the Asian Baptist Youth Fellowship and member-at-large of the BWA Youth Department. Besides youth ministry, his other passions include missions, music, & worship on the top of a long list. A bachelor’s degree in Theology and a master’s degree in Inter-cultural and Urban Studies helped prepare him for ministry. His varied professional experience over the past seventeen years includes stints in Christian education, church administration, events management, journalism, and public relations.

I have been working with the BWA Youth Department for several years which includes participation in planning three (3) Youth World Conferences. The experiences I have had on the Youth Executive Committee and the IPC have become some of the greatest joys of my live and ministry. It is such a privilege to be able to partner and fellowship in ministry to young people, with my brothers and sisters from around the world. At home I serve as the Senior Pastor of Trinity Church in the Bronx, New York. My prayer the conference in Leipzig is, that lives will be changed, minds will be expanded, Spirits will be restored and that God will be glorified.

I am Rebecca Hernandez. I was born in Guadelajara. I grew up in a Christian family. And throughout all of my live I was involved in Youth Leadership. First in our local church. Later on I took over responsibility in the regional and national youth leadership. I have been more that 10 year responsible for the Latin American Baptist Youth Federation.
In the BWA Youth Committee I have represented the Baptist Youth Family of Latin America.
